Zoho Analytics Aims for 20% Growth, Focuses on Enterprise Clients

Zoho Analytics, a key business intelligence (BI) product from software giant Zoho, is setting ambitious goals to increase its customer base by nearly 20 percent annually. The company is also shifting its focus to attract larger enterprise clients, moving beyond its traditional small and mid-market customer segments.

Clarence Rozario, Director of Product Management for Zoho's BI and Analytics Platform, recently shared insights into the platform’s evolution and future direction. Originally launched in 2009 under the name Zoho Reports, the product has transformed from a basic reporting tool into a comprehensive enterprise-grade BI platform. Today, Zoho Analytics is positioned alongside major competitors like Microsoft Power BI and Salesforce Tableau, offering advanced analytics capabilities.

Zoho Analytics currently counts over 100,000 customers. Among these, approximately 22,000 use the platform as a standalone solution, while the majority access it through integration with other Zoho offerings such as Zoho CRM and Zoho Books. This integration strategy has helped the platform secure a broad user base across multiple industries.

In 2024, small businesses with fewer than 100 employees represented over 70 percent of Zoho’s standalone BI customers. That share has decreased to about 50 to 55 percent, reflecting the company’s intentional push toward mid-market and enterprise clients. Rozario notes that more than 30 percent of current business comes from mid-market customers, with the remainder from enterprise-level organizations. This shift is driven by the platform’s expanded capabilities, which now include AI-powered agents that can interpret complex data and automate customized workflows, going beyond simple data visualization and dashboards.

Looking ahead, Zoho aims to double both its customer count and revenue over the next five to seven years, although specific revenue figures were not disclosed. The company’s investment in AI is a critical part of this growth strategy. The newly launched version of Zoho Analytics incorporates AI agents designed to enhance user experience by executing tailored workflows based on data insights.

Regarding concerns about the commoditization of BI tools due to low-code solutions and frontier AI models, Rozario acknowledges some risk at the lower end of the market. He explained that while AI models might suffice for basic analytics tasks, processing large datasets with these models can become prohibitively expensive. The cost of moving extensive records into AI models and the token consumption required for processing could escalate rapidly. This scenario strengthens the appeal of specialized BI vendors like Zoho, who provide optimized architecture and infrastructure for handling large-scale analytics efficiently.

The broader BI market has seen rapid innovation, fueled by advances in AI and cloud computing. As organizations increasingly rely on data-driven decision making, platforms like Zoho Analytics strive to offer solutions that scale from small businesses to complex enterprise environments. Zoho’s approach of integrating AI agents within its analytics platform reflects a growing trend where BI tools are becoming more intelligent, interactive, and capable of automating tasks that traditionally required manual intervention.

Zoho Corporation, founded in 1996, has grown into a multinational enterprise software company known for its extensive suite of cloud-based applications. Its BI product, Zoho Analytics, complements a portfolio that includes CRM, finance, HR, and productivity tools, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for business users.

By targeting enterprise customers and enhancing its AI capabilities, Zoho Analytics aims to capture a larger share of the competitive BI market. The company’s goal to achieve 20 percent annual growth in customers reflects confidence in its technology and market strategy. As data volumes continue to expand across industries, platforms that balance ease of use, scalability, and advanced analytics will likely play a pivotal role in digital transformation initiatives.

Published on November 5, 2026, this update marks a significant milestone for Zoho Analytics as it positions itself for sustained growth and deeper market penetration among larger organizations.
