Kissht Stock Jumps 8% as AUM Surpasses ₹10,000 Crore, Doubles Since IPO
Shares of fintech firm Kissht surged by 8 percent during intraday trading on Thursday following a significant milestone. The company's Assets Under Management (AUM) exceeded ₹10,000 crore, marking a key achievement in its growth trajectory. This milestone was supported by a positive trend in the wider equity markets that day.
On the National Stock Exchange, Kissht’s stock opened nearly 2 percent higher at ₹321 compared to its previous closing price. The momentum continued, pushing the stock to an intraday peak of ₹340.45. Although it gave up some gains by mid-afternoon, the stock remained comfortably higher at ₹334 as of 2:35 PM. During the same period, the benchmark Nifty 50 index advanced by 550 points or 2.3 percent, reaching 24,515.
According to a filing with the stock exchanges by OnEMI Technology Solutions, the parent company of Kissht, the crossing of the ₹10,000 crore AUM mark reflects robust expansion in its lending operations. This growth highlights the company’s increasing footprint in the consumer finance sector, where it offers credit products through a technology-driven platform.
Ranvir Singh, who serves as chairman, director, and CEO of Kissht, attributed this accomplishment to disciplined underwriting practices, effective collections, and a scalable technology-based infrastructure. In a statement, Singh said, "At the heart of the journey is our vision to make access to credit effortless, secure and human-centered, combining technology with an empathetic understanding of our customers' needs." His remarks underscore Kissht’s commitment to integrating innovation with customer-focused service.
Kissht made its debut on Dalal Street in May earlier this year, listing on the NSE at ₹190 per share. This price represented an 11 percent premium over its initial public offering (IPO) price of ₹171. Following the listing, the stock attracted strong buying interest, reaching a high of ₹388.15 on October 5. Currently, the share price is trading nearly 100 percent above the IPO level, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s prospects.
Financially, Kissht demonstrated robust performance in the second quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q2FY27). The company posted a net profit of ₹120 crore, doubling year-on-year. Revenue from operations also saw a significant increase, rising 45 percent to ₹731.8 crore in the same period. This strong quarterly showing validates Kissht’s business model and its ability to scale in a competitive fintech environment.
Looking ahead, Kissht has provided guidance for the full fiscal year 2027 (FY27). The company expects its AUM to grow by 60 percent, indicating continued expansion in its lending portfolio. Additionally, it anticipates a 15 percent reduction in credit costs on a year-on-year basis, which would improve profitability and risk management.
The fintech sector has been expanding rapidly in India, driven by increased digital adoption and demand for accessible credit solutions. Companies like Kissht that combine technology with customer-centric approaches are well-positioned to capture a growing share of this market. The crossing of the ₹10,000 crore AUM threshold is a tangible indicator of Kissht’s progress in this competitive landscape.
In summary, Kissht’s stock performance and financial results reflect a company on an upward trajectory. Its ability to deliver strong growth in assets, profits, and operational efficiency is resonating with investors. As the fintech space continues to evolve, Kissht’s focus on leveraging technology to meet consumer credit needs could help sustain its momentum in the months and years ahead.
