Two Point O Capital Secures $10M to Boost Clean Energy Solutions
Two Point O Capital (TW.O), an AI-driven full-stack platform focused on clean energy deployment for commercial and industrial (C&I) businesses, recently announced it has raised $10 million in a fresh funding round. The investment was led by Transition Venture Capital, with participation from existing backer Omnivore and angel investors Chiranjeev Singh Saluja and Sudhir M Reddy.
The capital injection will enable TW.O to broaden its offerings by venturing into battery energy storage systems (BESS) and strengthening its foothold in solar energy, energy efficiency, and wastewater treatment solutions. The company also aims to deepen its engagement in sectors with high energy and water consumption such as data centers, automotive, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and healthcare.
TW.O collaborates with leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies throughout India. Its client roster includes well-known firms like Premier Energies, Godrej, JK Tyre, Morepen Pharma, Wipro, and Phoenix Mills.
Businesses in the commercial and industrial space face unique challenges in sourcing tailored capital and asset solutions to fulfill their clean energy and utility requirements. Such solutions not only help reduce operational expenses but also open doors to new markets, including the European Union, while enhancing operational reliability. The market opportunity for these services is estimated to be between $100 billion and $150 billion annually, a gap TW.O intends to address through its innovative capital structures.
Karan Bhutani, CEO and co-founder of TW.O, highlighted India’s rapid growth in the C&I sector, which is driving increased demand for energy and water. He pointed out that this surge puts pressure on companies to optimize resource use and manage costs effectively. Bhutani also referenced recent geopolitical tensions in West Asia, underscoring the urgent need for energy independence and resilience. "Transitioning to clean energy and efficient water use is no longer optional but essential," he said.
Bhutani emphasized TW.O’s unique position in the market, combining flexible capital options with turnkey project execution and technology expertise. This approach helps clients lower expenses, boost resilience, and maintain competitiveness. He noted that the fresh funding would accelerate the company’s goal to become India’s leading multi-asset platform facilitating clean energy adoption in the C&I domain.
Founded in 2024 by Archit Mehrotra, Karan Bhutani, Manya Ranjan, and Shashidhar Reddy, TW.O’s leadership team brings over 75 years of combined experience from prestigious organizations such as KKR, McKinsey, Shell, BP, Honeywell, ReNew, Sterlite Power, and GIC. The company supports businesses in adopting sustainable infrastructure through flexible financing, project ownership models, transparent performance measurement, and guaranteed results.
In recent quarters, TW.O has experienced rapid growth, with its assets under management increasing by 1.5 times each quarter over the past three quarters. Their proprietary AI and machine learning platform plays a crucial role in solution design, underwriting, and asset monitoring. This technology enables predictive maintenance, risk management, and operational optimization while keeping costs manageable.
Yashodhara Bakliwal, Vice President of Investment at Transition Venture Capital, commended TW.O for eliminating capital expenditure barriers, which accelerates adoption of clean energy technologies. Bakliwal noted the complexities involved in integrating solutions across fragmented ecosystems with multiple stakeholders. "TW.O’s end-to-end execution ownership lets clients focus on their core business instead of the complexities of project delivery," she explained. Additionally, she mentioned that TW.O complements the existing TVC portfolio by enabling hardware companies to deploy solutions faster and reach customers who face financial constraints.
Abhilash Sethi, Partner at Omnivore, highlighted the expanding opportunity for deploying clean energy and utility assets as India ramps up its clean energy capacity in response to rising demand for reliable power and water resources. India recently surpassed 50 percent of its installed electricity capacity from non-fossil fuel sources as of June 2025, achieving this milestone five years ahead of its 2030 target. However, Sethi pointed out that clean energy adoption in the C&I sector still lags behind overall progress.
Sethi underlined the critical need for factories, hospitals, data centers, and manufacturing units to implement cleaner energy and efficient water management solutions daily. "TW.O’s platform is designed specifically to meet this growing demand," he said, expressing enthusiasm about continuing their partnership with the company.
As India continues its energy transition, platforms like Two Point O Capital are positioned to play a key role in helping commercial and industrial enterprises reduce their environmental impact while improving operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
