Choice Equity Recommends Buying Coforge, ICICI Bank, and KPR Mill
Choice Equity Broking has recently highlighted three stocks showing promising technical signals, advising investors to consider buying Coforge, ICICI Bank, and KPR Mill with clearly defined entry levels, stop losses, and price targets. These recommendations come as part of the brokerage's ongoing market analysis, reflecting the stocks' recent price movements and underlying technical patterns.
Coforge has been identified as displaying a constructive technical setup on its daily chart. The stock has been consolidating near a critical resistance zone between ₹2,000 and ₹2,045 after a notable rally from its recent lows. Its current price action remains above key moving averages, which generally indicates strengthening momentum. The Ichimoku Cloud, a popular technical indicator used to assess trend direction and momentum, also supports the positive outlook. Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is around 67, suggesting the stock holds bullish momentum without being excessively overbought.
Choice Equity advises purchasing Coforge shares on a cash basis if the price crosses above ₹2,045 with strong volume, which could trigger a further upward move toward their target of ₹2,250. On the downside, a support zone between ₹1,935 and ₹1,890 is considered important. Maintaining prices above this range would help sustain the bullish outlook.
ICICI Bank, one of India's leading private sector banks, is also showing technical signs of recovery. The stock is trading around ₹1,398, comfortably above both its 50-day and 200-day exponential moving averages (EMAs), which currently stand at approximately ₹1,376 and ₹1,366, respectively. This positioning suggests an improvement in the stock's price structure.
The bank’s stock has formed a bullish Pole and Flag pattern on the daily chart, a classic formation indicating possible continuation of an uptrend. If ICICI Bank’s share price decisively breaks above the ₹1,410 resistance level with solid trading volumes, this pattern could confirm further gains. Choice Equity projects the stock could then advance toward targets in the ₹1,450 to ₹1,480 range over the short to medium term.
On the downside, the zone between ₹1,375 and ₹1,365, aligning closely with the 50-day and 200-day EMAs, serves as a key support level. Traders are recommended to consider fresh purchases only once the stock surpasses ₹1,410 on a sustained basis, with a stop loss set at ₹1,365 to manage risk.
KPR Mill, a textile company, has demonstrated a strong technical breakout from a Falling Channel pattern on its daily chart. This breakout was accompanied by increased volumes, signaling growing buying interest after a corrective phase. The stock price is currently holding above its 100-day EMA, indicating a positive medium-term trend.
Further technical confirmation comes from the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator, which has recently shown a bullish crossover. This suggests that upward momentum is gaining strength. Given the combination of a clear breakout, rising volumes, and supportive momentum indicators, KPR Mill appears well positioned for further gains.
Investors are advised to buy KPR Mill at its current level of ₹1,115, with a stop loss at ₹1,070. The target price set by Choice Equity is ₹1,200, reflecting the potential upside from this technical setup.
These recommendations come amid a broader market environment where technical analysis continues to guide investment decisions, especially as traders seek to capitalize on price patterns and momentum signals. Coforge, ICICI Bank, and KPR Mill each show unique chart formations and indicators suggesting they could offer attractive risk-reward opportunities for those following a disciplined trading strategy.
