Nine Midcap Stocks Achieve Over 50% Sales Growth in Q1 2026
Several midcap companies on the NSE have reported impressive year-over-year sales increases for the quarter ending June 2026. Excluding banking and financial firms, nine companies demonstrated sales growth exceeding 50 percent compared to the same quarter in 2025, signaling a notable uptick in revenue generation within this segment.
One of the most striking performances came from Lloyds Metals & Energy, which posted a remarkable 209 percent surge in quarterly sales. Their revenue for the June 2026 quarter reached Rs 7,354 crore, a substantial rise from Rs 2,384 crore in the corresponding period last year. This surge highlights the company’s expanding operations and growing demand in its sector.
Another standout was a company whose sales climbed 131 percent year-over-year to Rs 572 crore in June 2026, up from Rs 248 crore in June 2025. This indicates strong market traction and effective business strategies.
Godfrey Phillips India also reported a significant increase, with quarterly sales rising 111 percent to Rs 3,820 crore compared to Rs 1,813 crore in the prior year. This performance reflects a robust recovery or expansion in its business activities.
Additional firms in this list include one that witnessed an 81 percent increase in sales, reaching Rs 937 crore from Rs 516 crore a year earlier, followed by another recording a 79 percent rise to Rs 7,932 crore compared to Rs 4,426 crore in June 2025.
A further company showed a 78 percent jump in sales to Rs 2,684 crore against Rs 1,507 crore reported in the previous year’s quarter. Oracle Financial Services Software delivered a 69 percent increase, with Rs 3,125 crore in sales compared to Rs 1,852 crore in June 2025.
One more company recorded a 63 percent rise in quarterly revenue, reaching Rs 1,107 crore up from Rs 680 crore in the same period last year. Finally, Sona BLW Precision Forgings rounded out the list with a 52 percent increase in sales to Rs 1,301 crore from Rs 854 crore.
These figures come amid a broader context where midcap stocks have been gaining investor attention due to their potential for higher growth compared to large-cap peers. The midcap segment often includes companies that are expanding rapidly and innovating within their industries, making them noteworthy for market watchers and investors alike.
Strong sales growth is a critical indicator of business health and market demand. Companies achieving more than 50 percent year-over-year sales increases typically benefit from factors such as product innovation, market expansion, or favorable economic conditions. This growth can translate into improved profitability and higher market valuations, attracting further investment.
As these midcap firms continue to report their quarterly results, their performance will be closely monitored for signs of sustained momentum or emerging challenges. Their ability to maintain or build upon such growth rates will be essential for long-term success and competitive positioning within their respective industries.
Overall, the June 2026 quarter has proven to be a period of solid sales expansion for these nine midcap companies, underscoring the dynamic nature of this segment in the Indian stock market.
