Japan’s bond yields hit near 30-year highs on BOJ rate-hike bets

Japan’s two- and 10-year bond yields climbed ‍to near three-decade highs ​on the first trading day of 2026, as markets ⁠braced for further interest rate hikes by the Bank of Japan.
