Gold falls more than 1% after Fed hikes interest rates

Gold prices fall more than 1% after the US Federal Reserve raises interest rates and signals further hikes, pushing the dollar higher and weighing on non-yielding bullion. Spot gold drops to $4,240.10 an ounce after hitting a session high of $4,365.57, while silver, platinum and palladium also decline.
